What is PSI?

Publisher Services Inc. (PSI) is a leading North American sales and fulfillment service enabling greater sales for small to medium-sized publishers to both book trade and specialty hobby channels. Our objectives are to work with our publishing partners to optimize their presence in the book trade marketplace and offer the highest quality products to our retail customers.

What does PSI do?

As a full-service, "turn-key" sales and fulfillment operation, PSI works as a sales force, in-channel marketing consultant, warehouse facility, shipper, and collections agent… allowing publishers to focus mainly on product creation.

In book trade channels, we target real sales and optimum sell-through and don't simply chase large volumes and ask customers to "buy returns." We work with publishers to find an optimum sell-in and sell-through volume that accommodates their respective business models. We present our publishers’ titles to the following retail and wholesale customers throughout North America:

In specialty hobby channels, PSI serves a world-wide network of wholesalers and retailers who specialize in games, comics and pop-culture items. This network of over 2,000 independently-owned retail outlets spans from Australia to Eastern Europe and is often unnoticed or underserved by traditional mass-market focused publishers.

Background

PSI was born from growing market demand for entertainment and pop culture media. We formed client relationships with a select group of high quality publishers of science fiction/fantasy, graphic novels, role-playing games (RPGs), card games, collectible miniatures, and board games.
