Our Story

Mike and Dean, then colleagues at White Wolf Publishing, saw an unmet need in the games industry. They sought to connect mid-sized publishers with retailers and their shoppers. They started PSi in 2002, first as a small warehouse facility in Atlanta, Georgia. Since then, PSi has grown to a full-service sales, marketing and fulfillment operation servicing over 250 vendors and all major retailers in both the domestic and international markets. Senior Management

Dean Burnham
Dean BurnhamPresident
Dean has long enjoyed a passion for playing (and sometimes creating) great games. Today, that passion plays a huge role in the continued success of PSI. After earning a BS degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1993, Dean started his professional career as an Inventory Manager with Year One, Inc. In 1996, Dean ‘shifted gears’ into a career with White Wolf Publishing (now CCP) initially overseeing its warehouse operations and later leading its Sales and Marketing efforts. In 2002, Dean and White Wolf colleague Mike Krause decided that their collective expertise in sales, marketing, warehousing, and logistics could be a valuable service to other publishers and manufacturers and formed PSI.

Mike Krause

Mike began his career in the game & toy industry in 1991 with the Game Designers’ Workshop (GDW). In 1992, Mike moved to White Wolf Game Studio to develop the sales, marketing and licensing departments. Mike managed those departments during White Wolf’s largest and longest growth period. In 2002, he co-founded PSI with good friend and colleague, Dean Burnham. PSI prides itself on delivering the very best entertainment products to the consumer paired with superior sales, marketing and logistics support. Today, he is proud to be part of a hard-working team that is passionate about games, toys, the people who make them and the marketplace who supports them.

Lisa Edison
Lisa EdisonChief Financial Officer
Lisa began her career in accounts receivable working for White Wolf after she graduated with a degree in fine arts from UTK with an emphasis on drawing and photography. She has also obtained an Accounting Degree and is currently managing the Accounting and Human Resources departments of PSI. She is married to a very talented artist and is mother to 2 children. Together they all love to spend time outdoors, play games, read, watch movies and attend puppet shows.

SuZan Severeson
SuZan SeveresonDirector of Biz Dev
SuZan is originally from Burnsville, Minnesota and attended Bradley University in Peoria Illinois where she studied International Business with an emphasis in Marketing. Upon graduating she was Marketing Director for a local Boy Scouts of America office before transitioning to the magazine publishing world. In 2010 SuZan joined the PSI team working on the Target account and managing vendors. SuZan currently manages new business development and mass and specialty retail accounts. SuZan stays busy running and is training for her first full marathon in June 2015.

Ross Jepson
Ross JepsonDirector of International Hobby Sales
Ross Jepson started in the games industry in 1979, owning and operating a Canadian hobby distribution company until it was sold in 1999. Ross then went to work for Steve Jackson Games as Director of Sales. Today, Ross is both the Director of Sales for Steve Jackson Games as well as the Director of Hobby Sales for PSI. He currently works with over 60 hobby distributors worldwide. In his spare time, Ross enjoys cycling, backpacking, historical miniatures gaming, board wargaming, and the study of military history.

Kelsey Yost
Kelsey YostSales Manager
Kelsey Yost joined PSI in 2016 after almost four years with the JM Smucker Company on the Target sales account. Prior to JMS, Kelsey worked for a vendor rep group for over two years in Minneapolis working with a variety of vendors across hardlines on the Target account. Kelsey received her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin- Stout where she focused on Business and Retail Merchandising and Management. Kelsey is currently pursuing her MBA from the University of St. Thomas downtown Minneapolis. Kelsey lives with her husband and puppy. She enjoys spending time with her family at the cabin, yoga, and snowboarding.

Megan Hinterman Kanous
Megan Hinterman KanousBusiness Development Manager
Megan Hinterman Kanous joined PSI in 2010 after falling in love with the game industry as the Game Buyer for Borders Group. Megan managed the Book Specialty market and currently manages PSI’s game presence in Target and Barnes & Noble Educational Toys & Games. She maintains a deep respect for the inventors, publishers and buyers that bring joy and entertainment to gamers of all ages. Megan is always on the lookout for great games to play and looks forward to continuously partnering with publishers who want to gain exposure for the fun they’ve created.

Andy Lupp
Andy LuppSales Manager
Andrew J. Lupp has been working professionally in the game industry for the past 18 years. His combined experience includes time spent as a Sales Rep for a hobby games distributor, Sales & Marketing Manager for three major games manufacturers, a reviewer for a popular board game website as well as a rule book editor for more than a dozen different board games. Andrew directs this passion for gaming towards the goal of providing quality entertainment for children and families through games. Andrew is proud to be working for PSI so that he can see this goal realized.

Drew Schulte
Drew SchulteAccount Manager
Drew started working with PSI in 2011 when he moved to Georgia. He has since moved into the sales team and back to Chicago where he has primarily worked with online customers. Outside of work Drew enjoys all kinds of gaming, backpacking, cooking, biking, and reading.

Alex Beatty

Alex Beatty has been at PSI since 2004 and started in the warehouse back when it was a wee-small distributor. He has since held several positions with his most recent being Vendor Liaison.

Fred Yelk Woodruff
Fred Yelk WoodruffSenior Planner
As PSI’s Senior Planner, Fred spent the last decade charting PSI’s inventory growth to meet the demands of the hobby, book, dotcom and mass markets. Fred spent the prior decade mastering the hobby market as White Wolf Publishing’s Director of Sales. He is an avid tabletop gamer and prefers winning.

Dane Jackson

Before joining PSI in May 2014, Dane worked in multiple roles within specialty retail including vendor management, marketing, planning & replenishment, and buying. In these roles Dane developed his business planning, strategy development, and digital marketing acumen. Dane brings over 10 years of industry experience to PSI and the top tier vendors in the board game, CCG, educational toy, and designer toy industries. No two days are alike, and to Dane, it’s refreshing and a privilege to work with such a passionate group of people.

Paul Chapman
Paul ChapmanVendor Liaison
Paul began his career with Steve Jackson Games in 2000, at first packing boxes and ending with the title of Marketing Director. Now, he applies his knowledge to the wider canvas of the hobby games industry. Outside the office, Paul cooks, reads, and plays his way through an ever-growing stack of games.

Connor Alexander
Connor AlexanderVendor Liaison
Connor Alexander joined PSI in 2016. Most recently he was helping run a board game café in Seattle. He has a long history of playing board, card and roleplaying games dating all the way back to Basic Dungeons and Dragons in the fifth grade. Connor manages and coordinates the new retailer facing programs such as the Demo Program, the Early Launch Program and the monthly PSI newsletter. Connor looks forward to helping brick and mortar stores find new and fun ways to sell board games.

Anita Lupp
Anita LuppVendor Liaison
Anita started her career in the games industry in 1998 with a leading UK distributor during which time she acted as Sales Manager, Sales Director, Buyer and eventually Company Director. After moving across the pond to marry her beau, she worked with a leading hobby game manufacturer for three years as Sales Director. She joined the PSI team in 2013 as a Vendor Liaison. In her spare time, Anita enjoys being outdoors with her young family, yoga, reading and playing games.
