Vendor Account Coordinator

Job Summary

The Vendor Account Coordinator is responsible for account management, customer relations, customer service, and support aspects of assigned vendor (board game publishers) accounts.  The incumbent functions as the primary contact for customer issues and acts as the liaison between internal resources and external vendors.


  • Act as a liaison between external vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Build trust and provide exceptional problem resolution
  • Advocate providing prompt resolution to external vendor and internal stakeholder needs
  • Manage relationships with clients leading to the development of customer delight
  • Establish and retain strong relationships with assigned accounts
  • Establish and maintain strong relationship with internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Act as a single point of communication for tactical issues, escalation and resolution for assigned accounts
  • Coordinate communication between customer and appropriate field service management
  • Perform other duties as assigned or necessary


  • Strong technical background
  • Outstanding detail-orientation and organizational skills
  • Strong experience in championing change, motivating persuasively and getting results through working with others
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities and duties in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proven leadership abilities preferably in an operations/product support or customer support environment
  • Strong consultative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven planning and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent business experience
